The AI Assistant lets you edit the lesson you are viewing by describing the change you want in plain language. It reads your lesson, proposes edits, and waits for you to accept or reject them before anything changes.
The AI Assistant helps with the editing work that usually takes the most time when you build or refine a course. For example, you can ask it to:
• Add a knowledge check: insert a quiz to reinforce a concept without building each question by hand
• Keep terminology consistent: find and replace a word or phrase across a card or lesson, for example after a rebrand
• Simplify dense content: rewrite a wordy section in plainer language or for a different reading level
• Restructure a card: try a different layout, split a long card, or reorder content
• Find, generate, or edit an image: search your materials or the Pexels stock library, generate a new image when nothing fits, or edit an image already in the chat, then place it in the lesson
• Build a custom-code embed: describe an interactive or raw-HTML embed and the AI Assistant writes it, with a live preview that renders as the code is created
These are examples rather than a fixed list. Describe the outcome you want and the AI Assistant works out the edits to propose.
1. Open a course and select the lesson you want to edit. The AI Assistant works on lessons, not the cover page, and only when the lesson is editable.
2. In the top bar, select the magic-wand AI Assistant icon to open the panel.
1. In the AI Assistant panel, type what you want to change.
2. Select the send button or press Enter. To add a new line instead, press Shift and Enter together.
The AI Assistant reads your lesson and proposes the edits. Your request applies to the current card or lesson.
While the AI Assistant works, the panel shows a Working state and the send button becomes a Stop button. You can keep typing your next message in the composer while it works, so you do not lose your train of thought. Select Stop to cancel the request, and the panel returns to ready. Any reply and proposed changes so far stay in place for you to review.
When you open the panel for the first time, you can start from a suggestion:
• Find and replace
• Insert knowledge check
• Try a different card layout
The AI Assistant can find, create, and change images for you as part of a conversation. Ask for what you want, then review the result like any other proposed change.
• Choose from suggestions: when a search returns several images that would work, the AI Assistant shows a few thumbnails and waits for you to pick one, instead of guessing.
• Generate a new image: when nothing suitable turns up, ask the AI Assistant to create one. It does not generate a real person, a real company product or logo, or anything meant to look like a genuine photograph.
• Edit an image in the chat: ask for a change to an image already in the conversation, for example a different background or removing an object. The AI Assistant saves the edit as a new image, so the original stays if you reject the change.
The AI Assistant works only from the lesson you have open. It helps to know what that includes:
• It reads and edits the current lesson, including any text you have selected.
• It can search the source documents you added when you created the course, and cites the file and page it used.
• It can search images from your project, such as media you uploaded, images taken from your documents, and images from the source URLs you added, as well as the Pexels stock library. When several images fit, it shows a few for you to choose from, and when nothing fits, it can generate a new image rather than place an unrelated one.
• It cannot see your other lessons, the module, or the whole course, and it cannot change course-level settings.
The AI Assistant proposes changes rather than applying them. Proposed changes appear highlighted in your lesson, and a review bar titled Accept changes? appears in the panel.
For a single change:
• select Accept to keep it
• select Reject to discard it
When there is more than one change:
• use the previous and next arrows to step through each change, shown as Edit X of Y
• select Accept all or Reject all to handle every change at once
Each time you accept or reject a change, the AI Assistant moves you to the next one.
Sometimes the AI Assistant needs direction before it edits. It presents a short question with a few suggested options, and one option may be marked Recommended. Select an option to continue, type your own answer in the text box and send it, or choose the opt-out to skip.
Each response has a thumbs-up and thumbs-down control. Select Good response or Bad response to tell us how the AI Assistant did, and add a short comment if you want. Your feedback helps us improve the AI Assistant.
If the AI Assistant cannot complete a request, it shows a short message in the panel and leaves your lesson unchanged. Wait a moment, then try again. If you send many requests in a short time, you may reach an hourly limit and see a message asking you to try again later.
• for a large lesson, narrow your instruction to a specific section rather than the whole lesson
• select New conversation in the panel header to start fresh
