The AI Assistant lets you edit the lesson you are viewing by describing the change you want in plain language. It reads your lesson, proposes edits, and waits for you to accept or reject them before anything changes.
The AI Assistant is still in beta. To request access, open the support chat in your portal and let us know you would like to join.
The AI Assistant helps with the editing work that usually takes the most time when you build or refine a course. For example, you can ask it to:
• Build a glossary: pull the key terms from a lesson into a glossary so learners have a quick reference
• Add a knowledge check: insert a quiz to reinforce a concept without building each question by hand
• Keep terminology consistent: find and replace a word or phrase across a card or lesson, for example after a rebrand
• Simplify dense content: rewrite a wordy section in plainer language or for a different reading level
• Expand a thin section: turn a short note into a fuller explanation with examples
• Restructure a card: try a different layout, split a long card, or reorder content
• Summarize a lesson: add a recap or key-takeaways section so learners remember the main points
These are examples rather than a fixed list. Describe the outcome you want and the AI Assistant works out the edits to propose.
1. Open a course and select the lesson you want to edit. The AI Assistant works on lessons, not the cover page, and only when the lesson is editable.
2. In the top bar, select the magic-wand AI Assistant icon to open the panel.
1. In the AI Assistant panel, type what you want to change.
2. Select the send button or press Enter. To add a new line instead, press Shift and Enter together.
The AI Assistant reads your lesson and proposes the edits. Your request applies to the current card or lesson.
While the AI Assistant works, the panel shows a Working state and the send button becomes a Stop button. Select Stop to cancel the request. Any reply and proposed changes so far stay in place for you to review.
When you open the panel for the first time, you can start from a suggestion:
• Find and replace
• Insert knowledge check
• Try a different card layout
The AI Assistant proposes changes rather than applying them. Proposed changes appear highlighted in your lesson, and a review bar titled Accept changes? appears in the panel.
For a single change:
• select Accept to keep it
• select Reject to discard it
When there is more than one change:
• use the previous and next arrows to step through each change, shown as Edit X of Y
• select Accept all or Reject all to handle every change at once
Each time you accept or reject a change, the AI Assistant moves you to the next one.
Sometimes the AI Assistant needs direction before it edits. It presents a short question with a few options, and one option may be marked Recommended. Select an option to continue, or choose the opt-out to skip.
Each response has a thumbs-up and thumbs-down control. Select Good response or Bad response to tell us how the AI Assistant did, and add a short comment if you want. Your feedback helps us improve the AI Assistant during the beta.
If the AI Assistant cannot complete a request, it shows a short message in the panel and leaves your lesson unchanged. Wait a moment, then try again. If you send many requests in a short time, you may reach an hourly limit and see a message asking you to try again later.
• for a large lesson, narrow your instruction to a specific section rather than the whole lesson
• select New conversation in the panel header to start fresh
